When you think of Las Vegas, your first thought might be slot machines, gambling, and partying. But beyond these, the city is full of must-see spots for arts, history, and culture – all waiting to be photographed. From art installations and street art to museums and themed hotels, there are a lot of amazingly Instagrammable places in Las Vegas that you shouldn’t miss.

The Most Instagrammable Places in Vegas (Don't Miss Them!)

1. The “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” Sign

No trip to the Sin City is complete without a photo at this iconic landmark.

Built about 60 years ago, this world-renowned attraction is on everything Vegas-related – ads, magnets, mugs, postcards, shirts, and even movies and TV shows.

The welcome sign is located on Las Vegas Boulevard South and is accessible with any transport. But because it’s famous and free, crowds flock quickly to line up for a photo in front of the sign.

If you want to have an uninterrupted photo op, it’s best to go early in the morning. Also, if you want to play around with different angles, you can take photos from the side or further back so you won’t have to wait too long under the blazing sun.

Location: 5200 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89119

2. Seven Magic Mountains

This colorful and creative large-scale art installation is an expression of human presence in the desert. The location was specifically chosen to symbolize the natural (mountains and deserts) and the artificial (highways and city).

Created by Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone, the display has seven giant totems made from locally-sourced boulders and painted in neon colors. Not only is it vibrant and majestic, but it’s filled with story and meaning – making it a great Instagram spot in Las Vegas.

The site is a 30-minute drive from Las Vegas Strip. If you want to capture memorable shots without too many people, try to go early in the morning. It’s also better to go midweek, as the place gets packed on weekends (and holidays).

3. The High Roller at The Linq Promenade

Get treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Las Vegas while riding in the world’s tallest observation wheel.

The whole rotation takes about 30 minutes. And while the views are great any time of the day, going on a ride just before sunset lets you witness the golden tones of the horizon and see the city begin to light up.

The High Roller is a very famous spot, so it’s best to buy your tickets in advance and skip the long queue. Plus, there’s an option for a happy hour package that includes an open bar that you can enjoy while enjoying the magical views.

This open-air museum collects, restores, and preserves iconic Vegas signs from way back. Not only does it transport you back in time, but it also offers a cool retro vibe. From the giant Hard Rock guitar and Stardust to Moulin Rouge and Cooler TV, this is undoubtedly a spot for your Instagram feed.

Purchase your tickets in advance as time slots sell out fast. You can choose between a self-guided general admission ticket or a guided tour. They also offer a Brilliant! Tour which makes the signs magically come to life.

6. The European Spots

In Vegas, you can tour famous European landmarks. And there are a lot of them.

Caesars Palace boasts replicas of iconic Roman monuments. Be sure not to miss the Trevi Fountain located at the entrance of the Forum Shoppes. It looks incredibly similar to the original one in Rome, just at a smaller scale (and with less people).

Head to the Paris for the half-size replica of the Eiffel Tower, which you can ascend for amazing views of the Strip and the city skyline. For the best Instagram shots, take your photos from across the street or near the Bellagio fountains. Plus, it houses the other replica of landmarks like Arc de Triomphe and Paris Opera House.

The Venetian also treats you to a European experience – from the detailed façade and the gondolas and canal to beautiful paintings on the ceilings.

In the Arts District, you’ll find vintage stores and coffee shops that draw locals and tourists alike. You’ll also see a lot of vibrant murals, retro motel facades, and colorful graffiti – all done by local artists, might we add – which make for the perfect photo ops.

Be sure to stroll down the streets (and side streets) of the district for street art gems just waiting to be photographed.

This luxury hotel, resort, and casino is world-famous for the Fountains of Bellagio – a large water fountain dancing to synchronized music. Plus, it’s lit at night, making it even more picturesque.

The Bellagio also offers Instagram-worthy spots like the conservatory and gardens. Here, you can marvel at the grand display of flowers, plants, and other natural elements that change seasonally. Just be sure to visit during daylight for better lighting and photo quality.

When you’re in the lobby, don’t forget to look up at the ceiling for stunning glass art by famous artist Dale Chihuly.
