Now that we know a bit more about the National Golf Month, let’s explore the best places to golf in Las Vegas.

Where to Go in Las Vegas for National Golf Month

1. Angel Park Golf Club

Nearly 3,000 feet in elevation, Angel Park Golf Club boasts stunning views of the Las Vegas Valley and Red Rock Canyon. There are two 18-hole courses cleverly designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer to challenge players of all skill level – The Mountain and The Palm.

The Mountain is slightly longer, measuring 6,223-yards from the championship tees and over 6,700-yards from the tips. It offer amazing views and is characterized by par 4s and 5s perfect for longer hitters. The Palm is shorter, at 5,740-yards off the championship tees and 6,430 yards off the tips. It has more challenging putting surfaces and perfectly positioned bunkers to challenge players of all skill levels.

If you want a shorter course, head to the Cloud 9, an illuminated 12-hole par-3 island green that replicates some of the toughest courses in the world.

Location: 100 South Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145

2. Royal Links Golf Club

Dreaming of playing in the British Open on day? Wait no further. Royal Links gives you the chance to live it.

Each hole is a replica of the world-renowned course – from the Road Hole at St. Andrews to the par-3 Postage Stamp at Royal Troon. On each, you’ll find a history lesson about the hole you’re playing, including the monuments located nearby and highlight spots of the Open events. Plus, you can walk over the Swilcan Bridge to explore some Open History from the plaques around the course.

As a change-up from the usual desert golf, it’s no wonder why a round in this golf club transports you to a different Vegas experience.

Location: 5995 E Vegas Valley Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89142

3. Rio Secco Golf Club

Built in 1997, this award-winning golf course designed by Rees Jones offers the perfect balance between breathtaking scenery and challenging plays. Situated right at the foot of Black Mountain, the course pushes even the best drivers and putters to their limits.

Rio Secco has a great variety - six holes through steep canyons, six on the plateau overlooking the city, and another six in broad desert wash. Plus, it also houses the famous Butch Harmon School of Golf.

Location: 2851 Grand Hills Dr, Henderson, NV 89052

4. Las Vegas National Golf Club

Just 10 minutes away from the Strip, Las Vegas National is home to a classic style golf course.

Designed by Bert Stamps in 1961, the course can be demanding, given that it has several lengthy par-4s and challenging par-3s. The fairway boasts thousands of trees bordering it and well-positioned bunkers. However, there can be a few water hazards that protect the greens, so it’s best to play the ball low and under the wind.

This golf club also has a rich history, having hosted several LPGA and PGA Tours since its opening.

Location: 1911 E Desert Inn Rd, Las Vegas NV 89109

5. Paiute Golf Resort

About 25 minutes north of downtown Las Vegas stands the multi-course Paiute Golf Resort that’s built on native American land. Designed by Pete Dye, this oasis has three award-winning courses – Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain, and Wolf - which allow you to play through the desert and the mountains.

There are over 200 bunkers scattered around, a number of dogleg fairways, and water hazards that make your play extra fun and challenging. The fast greens, sloping hills, and hilly terrain also put golfers to the test.

One thing is for certain – the scenery of this course is stunning beyond words. On top of the one-of-a-kind experience, you get to enjoy the fairway winding through the Paiute Indian Reservation.

Location: 10324 Nu-Wav Kaiv Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89124

6. Desert Pines Golf Club

This dye-designed golf course boasts plenty of mature pine trees, pristine grass greens, railroad ties, and four sparkling lakes. Perfectly situated less than 20 minutes from the Strip, Desert Pines has 18 holes of adventure perfect for both experts and novices alike.

This golf club is also the only two-tiered, climate-controlled practice facility in Las Vegas. It features an automatic ball delivery system and 56 covered hitting stations to protect the player from direct sunlight and rain.

Location: 3415 E Bonanza Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89101

7. TPC Las Vegas

Ever dream of playing where the pros play? TPC Las Vegas is the fairway for you.

Nestled in the high-end Summerlin neighborhood, this 18-hole golf course is the only public PGA tour facility in Las Vegas. It features various elevation changes, steep ravines, generous fairways, abundant greens, and over 60 tee boxes to choose from. It also boasts unparalleled views of the Canyons and a lake along the way.

Plus, on this elegant course, the layout and length of the land give golfers of all skill levels a real test.

Location: 9851 Canyon Run Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89144

8. Primm Valley

While this course is located in the desert, Primm Valley still offers rolling fairways lined by natural areas of boulders, plants, trees, and rocks. It also features cascading waterfalls, densely wooded areas, and winding streams.

Because the generous fairways slope back towards the center, tee shot accuracy is not always a problem. However, players soon realize that well-mounded grass can be demanding and fast. The greens, though, are well protected by a number of bunkers.

Location: 31900 S Las Vegas Blvd, Primm, NV 89019
